International Congress on Bamboo & Rattan

As part of INBAR's participation in the World Expo in Shanghai, we hosted a 3 day Congress on Bamboo and Rattan, from 20-22 May.. The event explored the multiple interfaces between the bamboo and rattan sectors and the improvement of cities and the lives of their inhabitants. These two natural resources have much to offer to the theme of ‘Better City, Better Life', and the INBAR Honor Day and Congress provided the opportunity to share global experiences and expore ways to move forward.
