Meet the Pavilion's Architectural Firm

Huayang Hengtong is one of the most significant architectural firms in China focusing on inventive and imaginative work-regularly acknowledged nationally for its design excellence.  Established in 2000, the firm has emerged nationally by employing innovative technologies and cutting-edge research in architecture, planning, landscape and design.

Their process is deeply rooted in the concept of integration, where clients and collaborators work together to create exhibitions and buildings that embrace a balance of people, planet and prosperity.  The firm's work includes designing China's Pavilion at the 2008 Expo in Zaragoza, Spain, as well as ICCIE Chaoyang District Exhibition Hall. . Significant recent projects include 2010 Shanghai World Expo International Organizations Joint Pavilion.

They've received numerous honors, including for 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Heilongjiang Museum Exhibition Design Program Award of Excellence and 2010 Shanghai World Expo Chongqing Museum of Design Award Finalist.
